The Ambassador Matyas Szilagyi:
“The diplomatic missions need to contribute not only to the approach of the political institutions, but to the approach of the university ones through direct relations”

On the occasion of good bye visit, His Excellency Matyas Szilagyi, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova together with Mr. Consul Gyula Levente Sass met with a group of students and professors of ULIM. The high guests offered to ULIM a donation of books in Hungarian language from the part of University of Debrecen, one of the important partners of our institution. The Ambassador Matyas Szilagyi thanked ULIM for the conditions of an intensive collaboration of 5 years.

Part of this collaboration was the course of Hungarian language at ULIM, given for a semester by Maria Cservak, Master degree student at the Faculty of Philology of University of Debrecen.

His Excellency Matyas Szilagyi promised that course of Hungarian language at ULIM will continue and he highlighted the importance of the multilingualism, which is characteristic to our state.

The Rector Andrei Galben said that, on this occasion, aims at presenting a gratitude message to the European Commission, states with diplomatic missions accredited at Chisinau, for the contribution and the support of ULIM within its 25 years of activity. An important role had the Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova, especially His Excellency Matyas Szilagyi during his mandate together with his homologues from Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, France, Germany and of course, Unites States of America etc.
